2012 Cross-Strait PT Co-projects Kick-off Conference Held in Shanghai

2012 Cross-Strait PT Co-projects Kick-off Conference was successfully held by “Cross-strait Accreditation Cooperation Working Group” in Shanghai, from May 18th  to 20th, 2012. China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS) Deputy Chief Executive Mr. FAN Enjian, Taiwan Accreditation Foundation (TAF) Chief Executive Officer Mr. Nigel JOU, Certification and Accreditation Administration of the People’s Republic of China (CNCA) Deputy Director General Mr. HUANG Shouyun, and China Certification and Accreditation Association (CCAA) the Secretary-general Mr. ZHAO Zongbo attended and addressed the conference. Relevant staff from CNAS, TAF and the expert laboratories of the PT project undertaking organizations also participated in this conference.
 
Over the Kick-off Conference, the relevant officials and specialists from both Mainland and Taiwan actively discussed and exchanged views on the Cross-Strait PT Co-projects on self-ballasted LED-Lamps, rearview-mirrors performance of motor vehicles and EMI, and subsequently reached a consensus. It laid the foundation for the further smooth implementation and marks that 2012 Cross-Strait PT Co-projects is officially launched.

During the Conference Period, the relevant staff from CNAS and TAF also visited two of the PT project undertaking organizations - Shanghai Institute of Quality Inspection and Technical Research (SQI) and Shanghai Motor Vehicle Inspection Center (SMVIC).
