The 2026 Annual Meeting of the Asia-Pacific Accreditation Cooperation (APAC) was held in Bali, Indonesia from June 21st to 26th, with a delegation from the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS) attending the meeting in person.

The meeting consisted of the APAC General Assembly and meetings of all the committees. Participants conducted in-depth discussions and exchanges on topics including the latest developments in accreditation across the Asia-Pacific region and the world, the formulation and revision of APAC accreditation rules and technical documents, and cooperation between APAC and relevant international organizations. As the world's largest regional accreditation cooperation organization, APAC currently has 88 member bodies from 46 economies. It is committed to advancing international cooperation in the field of accreditation within the Asia-Pacific region. By establishing and continuously improving the multilateral mutual recognition arrangement among accreditation body members, APAC promotes the widespread acceptance of accredited conformity assessment results across the Asia-Pacific region and globally.

During the event, the CNAS delegation fully participated in the General Assembly and relevant committee sessions, engaged in in-depth discussions on various topics, and actively exchanged views with representatives from other accreditation bodies. Meanwhile, CNAS experts chaired the meetings of the APAC Technical Committee 1 (TC 1) in the capacity of TC 1 Chair, advancing the committee's technical work in full earnest. This fully demonstrated China's professional expertise and international responsibility in the accreditation field.

In recent years, CNAS has further intensified its international cooperation in accreditation. It has been deeply involved in the development of APAC's governance system and rule-making, actively provided technical assistance to multiple accreditation bodies in the Asia-Pacific region, and steadily advanced pragmatic cooperation with accreditation bodies of Belt and Road partner countries, achieving steady growth in its international influence. At present, 18 CNAS experts hold various management and technical positions in APAC, continuously contributing Chinese wisdom and strength to the cooperation and development of accreditation in the Asia-Pacific region.
